Some nights remind you why you never gave up.
Meeting people I grew up listening to, standing backstage, hearing incredible music, ending up on stage, and somehow even being on TV…
it was one of those nights.
Jack Johnson was one of the first artists that made me want to pick up a guitar. “Banana Pancakes” was one of the first songs I learned when I started playing at 16.
So moments like this mean more than just a photo.
But what made this night even more powerful wasn’t just the music—it was the heart behind it.
Seeing artists like Kimié Miner, The Green, Kolohe Kai, Mākaha Sons, Jason Momoa, and so many incredible musicians come together for Hawaiʻi was bigger than entertainment.
It was community.
It was love.
It was people using their gifts to give back and help our islands stand strong.
That’s why we were there.
Not just for the photos.
Not just for the moments.
But to witness people showing up for Hawaiʻi and reminding us what unity looks like.
They remind me how far God has brought me.
I’m just grateful.
Grateful that I get to do what I love for a living.
Grateful for every small gig, every lesson, every hard season, and every open door.
Almost 10 years of professionally playing music… and I still feel like I’m just getting started.
Formerly Johnny The Third.
Stepping fully into Johnny Stahley.
Still building.
Still trusting.
Still becoming.
