Highlights from the first leg of our epic southern Italy trip.
The charming town of Sorrento with its fun alleys and beautiful squares , majestic views and sunsets complete with a visit to a lemon grove and Limoncello factory, Pompeii and its incredibly well preserved ruins of a city devastated by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and the gorgeous Amalfi Coast- Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi- each with its iconic cliffs sprawling down to the Mediterranean Sea. Living the food and the people and my Italian is getting a boost!
