Will I bruise?
Short answer: high possibility
The face is incredibly vascular, with a complex network of arteries and veins (as shown here). Even with the most careful technique, avoiding every tiny vessel isn’t always possible.
Bruising can happen with any injectable treatment.
What we can control:
• Advanced anatomical knowledge
• Safe injection techniques
• Appropriate product placement
• Minimising trauma as much as possible
What you can do:
• Avoid alcohol & blood-thinning supplements before your appointment
• Follow aftercare closely
• Plan treatments with a little downtime, just in case
Most bruising is mild and temporary but it’s a normal part of the process for some patients.
