Let me tell you about my Huntie girl. 🤍

In 2018 @waggytailrescue asked if I could help temporarily foster a 4 year-old girlie named Hunter. After a quick subway station handoff, Huntie and I traveled home to my apartment in Astoria, Queens where I quickly realized she was very sick.

We were told she might only make it a few months but this strong and resilient girl had different plans! 8 years together, we welcomed another waggy alum @tigrrrblaze , and filled our home with so much love. My cuckoo crazy girl, Hunter Moon - you overcame the toughest obstacles and blessed our lives with your stinky breath and perfect scruffy cuddles. You were so loved and will be terribly missed.

I still expect to see you always at my feet, my sweet shadow. Give kisses to everyone we love who was waiting for you today in heaven. 🤍 xx your mama & brother
