The past couple of weeks have been rough, but we’re getting through it. The 2 weeks post op were filled with lots of tears and emotions from pain, frustration and lack of sleep. It took time for Sami to be able to sleep in comfort. Finally this past Tuesday she had her post op appt where they unlocked her knee brace. She had her first physical therapy appt on Wednesday and what a turn around!! She’s getting around on her own so much better. I promised her froyo when she could get in and out of the car and when she was better on her crutches. Last night we made a trip to Yogurtland.
Thank you to all of our village for the prayers, messages, gifts and support. Sami is on the path to a full recovery and can’t wait to get back to volleyball, but that probably won’t happen for at Lear 4 months. Love you all!!!
