I’m the BIRTHDAY 🥂✨🎂 Hair: @davonteelijah Makeup: @musicbychel Video: @_steph.paul_ This birthday has come with a lot of mixed emotions, but one thing I know for sure is that with God, I can accomplish, do, and be anything that He has called me to be 🙏🏽💕 I thank Him for my heart and for making me a woman who is committed to seeing the beauty in every single day. I’m so grateful to see another year around the sun. This year has been extremely personal and filled with a lot of intentional time to sit with myself, grow closer to God, and learn to trust His timing. And I truly believe that things can only go UP from here ✨ The journey of a woman is a deeply personal one. And though I may not know what the future holds, or have it all figured out and while I absolutely did not anticipate experiencing so much profound loss or delays…I look at myself in the mirror everyday and I absolutely love who I have fought to become. I have no clue why God made me a dreamer or a fighter and so freaking optimistic that sometimes it hurts; but I realize now beyond a shadow of a doubt that’s just who I am and I will FOREVER be a woman who believes that ALL things are working together for my ultimate good 🥹 I always have a plan and strategies and vision…I have also learned that none of us truly knows what any personal new year actually holds, so while I can’t see the future or what the next 365 days have in store for me…I do know that there is always room for growth, expansion, and more love. I want what God wants for me. In my career, my relationships, my family, my friendships, and every area of my life. I release the expectations, surrender the timelines, and trust Him to take me to higher heights than I could ever imagine. I’m grateful for the lessons, the becoming, and the woman I am today. Most of all, I’m grateful that I get to see another year, that I get to keep dreaming and believing, and that I get to be me, because that is a gift all by itself. God, have Your way with my life.
