Florida holds some of my hardest memories, but also some of my most cherished ones. It’s a place tied to both pain and gratitude in my life, and recently, getting to return and share parts of it with a dear friend @dsavre was a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to erase our past to grow from it. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for over 20 years, working alongside celebrities, being part of major fashion and advertising campaigns, and having the opportunity to travel to some pretty spectacular places both for work and for life. To say my life is different from my humble beginnings would be an understatement. I grew up in a tiny town of about 8,000 people, where the biggest opportunity I could imagine for myself was earning $10 an hour (at the time, minimum wage was $5.50). Looking back, life wasn’t exactly easy. There was a lot of loneliness, sadness, and scarcity. And even after I left, I carried so much of that with me for decades because, unfortunately, changing your environment doesn’t automatically change the beliefs, fears, and stories you’ve been recycling your whole life. But through doing the work I now do, I finally found my way out of that mindset. And today, I have the privilege of helping women all over the world break free from the patterns, fears, and limitations that keep them stuck. I of course do not take that responsibility lightly, and that’s why it was such an honor to share my story on the @sweetandsavrepodcast where real women can share real stories, because sometimes all it takes is hearing someone else’s journey to remember what’s possible for your own.

I just needed a moment to catch my breath 🖤 While things may have seemed quiet online, behind the scenes life has been full. Full of healing, growing, mum life & laying the foundations of what’s to come. Sometimes these moments teach us to slow down , take care of ourselves and be grateful becos there’s so much beauty in being in the present . If this reaches someone who’s carrying a lot right now, I just want you to know, I see you, I hear you & I feel you. It’s good to be back 🕊️
