A truly humbling running experience today. 3:07:24. No PB. I felt flat going into the race, but I still wanted to suit up and give it a real crack regardless. Around 18km both hamstrings started to tighten up and I brought out the pickle juice a lot earlier than I anticipated 😅 From there it became less about running a PB and more about just finding a way to keep moving forward without stopping. I thought about stopping the whole way through, but kept grinding and eventually hobbled my way over the line 😂 The marathon owes you nothing. You have to respect the distance no matter what. 3 marathons in 14 weeks has been a massive physical and mental challenge, but I’m glad I did it and proud of what I’ve achieved! Now its time to properly rest, recover and stop carbo loading 🤪 Hopefully I can comeback stronger next year 🫡

A throwback to our favourite stars sharing laughs on “El Le‘ba,” hosted by Tamer Habib in 2008. Swipe through for a dose of nostalgia. 📸 : @cinema_black1
