Calling all songwriters and composers in the genres of progressive rock, folk, and classical music!
We’re thrilled to announce that the first year of The Ivors Academy Trust’s newest bursary scheme is now open.
The fund is part of Peter Sinfield’s legacy—co-founder of the seminal prog rock band, King Crimson, and prolific songwriter—to help support the next generation of emerging creators.
Songwriters and composers between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply for up to £5,000 to support the creation of new, original works in the above genres.
Applications close at 9am, 11 May 2026.
