It’s nice when the hard work pays off.
Really happy with my result at a very hot and crowded London Marathon this year. Trusted the work I’d done in a really good 16 week training block and ran a controlled effort from start to finish. Even had a bit of energy for a sprint finish - you have to watch the clip of me crossing the finish line.😅
Managed to get back to join my Reading Rockets in winning their playoff semi final too.🏆
Extremely proud to take 12 minutes off my previous London PB, with a chip time of 3:18. Even more so after fighting back from a stress fracture for the last 18 months.
I’ve learned so much from running the last 4 years, every medal tells its own story, hopefully there’s still a bit more to come.
Thanks for all the support and kind words.
Next up - 🇺🇸 Chicago in October.
Let’s go.
