when I started training for my half marathon, my legs were always drained- I basically stopped training them in the gym
but I knew building strength was necessary to keep me feeling my best
this is the one leg day I kept in weekly – it helped me feel stronger, more stable, & way more capable
✨️ it made the whole thing feel a lot more doable ✨
*4x8 hip thrusts (glutes/power – main driver in running)... forgot to record lol 😭
☆ 4x6–8 box squats (power)
☆ 3x10 barbell RDLs (hamstrings – stride)
☆ 3x8–10 step-ups w/ knee drive (single-leg strength)
☆ 4x20s copenhagen planks (adductors – hip stability)
Save this for race prep or tag a runner who might need it 😌🏃♀️
