This is a fantastic mural and such a shame to see it go. Thank you for your beautiful work.

So sorry to read this. The mural is stunning. Not a small undertaking, but could it be moved?

this is really disappointing. I can't get over how stupid it seems to demolish a school in order to build a new school. It wasn't burnt during the fires. It wasn't red tagged during an earthquake. Also, every climate action plan would say to renovate, not demolish, as the lowest carbon emission option. and WTF. and all of the communities working on the beautiful grounds and murals. I am angry. This is our neighborhood school. @steve_madisond6 @teachphoto

You and your team designed and painted a stunning mural . I’m heart broken @PUSD’s extremely short sided decision not to give this architecturally rich campus a second life. 😭

Many of the parents feel the same way. 😢Thousands of hours of volunteer time over five years, plus over $250,000 in state green schoolyard grant improvements, will be wasted. Rather than spend $70 million to remodel and add some new classrooms, they are going to spend double to raze everything. Will anything be set aside for the arts?
