2 months agoJust talk about CELPIP in front of a phone. mike’s teammate sniff it out like a dog and show up on your feed to dry-suck your pockets. He’s basically just giving pre-written templates from ChatGPT 😮. All he teaches is “firstly, secondly,” and then acts like that’s going to blow the examiner away as if it’s advanced English.
2 months agoPlease think twice before buying this course. Before joining, I was told that I would get a refund if I didn’t achieve my desired score, and that the class size would be only 4–5 students. However, there were around 50 students in my class. I submitted my practice test and was told I would receive feedback within 2 days, but I still haven’t received it. After paying, responses to questions can take 1–3 days, while they reply within minutes when you are trying to register. The course also focuses mostly on basic templates and words like “firstly” and “secondly,” rather than teaching students how to develop ideas and improve their actual scores. They claim that 99.99% of their students achieve CLB 9, but based on my personal experience and the results of 4–5 people I know who took the course, I have not seen that result. If my English were already strong enough, I wouldn’t need a course—I would need proper guidance on how to improve my score. I’m sharing my experience so others can do their research before purchasing.
