sleep and I have the most complicated relationship ever 😭

Going to bed at a reasonable hour just to spend the next three hours replaying a conversation from 2017. Then waking up exhausted, promising to sleep early tonight, and doing the exact same thing again.

Your body is begging for sleep while your brain decides it's the perfect time to rethink every decision you've ever made.

Day -5 Maa Skandamata
Her name literally means
Mother of Skanda, also known as
Lord Kartikeya- born of Lord Shiva & Shakthi’s divine energy.

Maa Skandamata, embodies Vatsalya loosely translated, it means the tender, unconditional love of a mother.
Empowered by his mother Maa Skandamata’s unconditional love & protection, he becomes the celestial commander-in-chief of Gods & slays the invincible demon Tarakasura.

Goddess Durga is an integration of two seemingly opposite forces -
the tender warmth of a mother’s love &
the fierce, defensive shield of a courageous protector.
Yet, they are ultimately two sides of the same coin.

Both forces demand a complete selflessness & surrender of the ego.
As a mother, vatsalya, is the most selfless form of love, which cares & protects, wanting only the wellbeing of her child, & asking for nothing in return.
The protector similarly risks everything,
her life too, while standing in the line of fire to keep the protected safe.
The courageous protector is not driven by hatred for the enemy, but by deep love for whom is being protected.

This mango yellow - black Kanjeevaram saree is arund -3 decades old, which I realised is giving away in a couple of places.
Its seen many wears, seen places and people significant in my life, all along collecting & holding memories in its folds. Was a delight to wear this soft silk today.

Finally, padded coat season is here!

We’ve designed some really beautiful pieces this year, and I’m so excited to show you what we’ve been working on.

They’re all launching this week, and I genuinely can’t wait to hear which one is your favourite.

If you comment “ LOOK”

I’ll DM you the link to our New In page

You can then be one of the first to see each new piece as it launches.

Which is your favourite
