She could fly a plane before she could drive a car. ✈️ “People say, ‘oh you can’t drive,’ and I’m like, ‘yeah but I can fly,’” Nathalia Filgueiras told a local news station in 2023, when she was 17 and had just earned her pilot’s license. Her dream was to fly for an airline. On Sunday, at 20, she was the co-pilot of the Learjet that crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, her family says. All nine people on board were killed. Rest easy, Nathalia. 🕊️ Video: CBS12 News #aviation #pilot #womeninaviation #florida #contrail

33 years connected through time. Time Warp has been part of my journey for more than three decades — not simply as an event, but as a place where music, people and moments have met again and again. And now another circle closes. Together with my dear friend Roman Flügel, I created RINGS OF LIGHT a track born from a long musical friendship, recorded in Berlin surrounded by machines, memories and endless possibilities. There is something almost spiritual about this music now becoming Time Warp Records 001. Because time is never really a straight line. We move, we change, we disappear for a moment and return somewhere else. Music travels with us. Sometimes a sound comes back decades later in another form, carrying everything that happened in between. RINGS OF LIGHT feels like that to me. Circles within circles. Past becoming present. Movement becoming energy. Energy becoming light. After 33 years together in time, a new cycle begins. Rep. Haley Stevens, the Michigan Democrat who lost to Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in their primary earlier this year, endorsed his Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers. The striking cross-party endorsement ratcheted up the tension in an already contested race. The Michigan election is one of a handful of the most closely watched contests in the country where both parties are battling for control of the Senate, which Republicans lead 53-47. “I don’t belong in Abdul’s campaign,” Stevens said in a video post on social media. “A dear friend of mine earlier today was saying today that education was on the ballot and she’s absolutely right. What our students see, what our children see and who we are as Michiganders is not hate, and is not what we’re getting out from our Democratic nominee right now.” 📸: Brian Manzullo, Eric Seals and Junfu Han, Detroit Free Press Read more at the link in our bio.
