Language Development of DHH is a course centered on understanding how Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) children develop language, with a strong focus on early intervention for infants and support for their families.
Pictured here, students are preparing for a special event that brings together families of infants and toddlers who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, or deafblind, along with their caregivers and service providers, for a celebration of early learning through play!
One featured activity, Mr. Potato Head, has been thoughtfully adapted to include hearing aids and cochlear implants thanks to SLP graduate student Bridget Musleh. ๐Ÿ’œ
