DEVELOPING: The Browns will attempt to re-sign QB Deshaun Watson to a contract extension if he leads the team to the playoffs ✍️

Watson, who's set to become an unrestricted free-agent in 2027, would be interested in re-signing as he has a good relationship with the Browns' ownership, front office, and his teammates.

Watson, 31, has thrown for 1,010 yards, 7 TD, and 2 INT with a 64.2 completion percentage in five starts this season. He's also rushed for 167 yards on 37 carries (4.5 YPC).

Watson has led the Browns to a 3-2 record and has the franchise second in the AFC North entering Week 6.
