Songs Of Audition

The 2011 cover of "Bad Romance" by Alvin and the Chipmunks & The Chipettes, featured in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, is a high-pitched, energetic pop cover of the Lady Gaga hit. It features both the Chipmunks and Chipettes singing and dancing in a tropical island setting in the film, with a studio version appearing on the soundtrack album.

In the film and trailers, the Chipettes frequently lead the dance-heavy, fashion-themed, "Bad Romance" performance on the deserted island. the song features the signature high-pitched vocals of Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor.

The lyrics are edited from the original to be appropriate for a young audience, featuring lines like "I like your crazy, I like all your tricks" and "Want you here by my side, through thin and thick".
