results from a conceptual photography workshop i took last year- uses objects, doors and windows from my long uninhabited grandmothers house (الله يرحمها), reimagined in a different setting.

I’ve always been drawn to exploring abandoned spaces and wanted to recreate the atmosphere of stepping inside one and feeling like they have become one with the outside; furniture encased within the same four walls, gathering dust and various visitors no different than if it had been left out to the elements. The scenes are placed against landscapes of pictures I took that I felt shared a commonality with abandoned houses- where time stands still.
