Onwards across the Anti Atlas Mountains and bizarre to see the world’s most leading technology mixing it with some of the old Mud built Kasbahs.

The amazing Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex is the world’s largest concentrated solar power plant, whereas in Ouarzazate and surrounding areas there are beautiful old kasbahs some restored and some left crumbling.

We had fun at the Atlas film studios and were shocked at how many blockbuster movies (or at least parts of them) have been filmed there over the years; including, Gladiator, the Mummy, Jewel of the Nile, Cleopatra and many others. We even got to star in our own little movie whilst on tour.

Then on to the historic Ait Ben Haddou, this old Ksar (fortified village) was stunning, but gets full of tourists by day, so we waited to visit in the evening so we could enjoy it more.
