After having partially torn my quad 3 weeks before this competition I was done in my head . I couldn’t put my foot on the ground even. And struggled to walk for a week. The idea of this season was never to get a pro card . I decided to compete I don’t even know why. Everything was planned for 2027 . Was ment to be THE YEAR. But I had the urge to step on stage .
With a 5 week prep I did my regional ( I had to do the show because was the only one at the time if I wanted to do a pro qualifier) So I did … and somehow .We took the over all on the regional.
After that came Poland and just 7 days before… my quad snapped on the leg press. I called my coach @coach.of.wolves crying . I never got injured in my life so I was not only panicking for my future but also because of all of the work that I had done so far . He told to wait, breathe and not give up yet because was not fully torn, to go home, and put my legs up and ice. And somehow I got on the flight to Poland . But minutes before I checked in I had a panic attack because I couldn’t feel my leg . My nerve was being compressed and my leg was numb and weak. Again . Don’t ask me how . But I got in to the flight. From there on I just wanted to survive my competitions and not fu** the rest of my quad posing . ( because it hurted like a MF)
the day before Irland (this show ). I had planned to go to Alicante to do a show next week but I told my coach I am canceling the Spain show because my legs are gone. At this moment couldn’t train legs for 3 weeks… and he told me .
-“ yeh I didn’t want to stress you but it’s true , maybe it makes sense “
But he believed in me . I had ABSOLUTELY NO BELIEF. I was just there alone and accepted that the goal was to have fun within the circumstances that I had before me. And so I did .
I was talking and walking backstage with everyone. Just walking in my posing trunks instead of laying like a potato with my legs up. Because I wanted to enjoy the moment. When i stepped on stage . We had the strongest line up (11 big doods) and I was just there for fun. But… I won my class and somehow, the overall ….And after that it’s history #fy #fyp
