18-YEAR-OLD DRIVER DECEASED AFTER VEHICLE SPLITS IN HALF IN SOUTHWEST HOUSTON

A young driver, believed to be just 18 years old, lost his life early this morning, October 31, 2026, after crashing into a pole in southwest Houston.

According to HPD, an off-duty officer witnessed the vehicle traveling approximately 80 mph through the intersection of South Sam Houston Parkway West and South Post Oak Road around 3 AM.

Moments later, the vehicle struck a pole with such force that it split in half, ejecting the driver from the car.

Houston firefighters arrived at the scene and attempted lifesaving measures, but unfortunately, the young driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash and have not confirmed whether alcohol played a role.

In case you were wondering what it’s like to live with 15 of your best friends on the ocean 🏖️🏡

I used to be that girl who wanted to do everything in life… 🥀

So many dreams, so many plans, so much excitement about the future.

And somewhere between growing up, responsibilities and trying to keep everything together… I started losing that version of myself. ❤️‍🩹

अब कभी-कभी लगता है, जिन चीज़ों के लिए इतनी excited हुआ करती थी, उनका मतलब ही कहीं खो गया है।

I don't know when I changed this much… but I really miss the girl I used to be. 🥺

Maybe she's still somewhere inside me, just a little tired.

Do you ever miss the old version of yourself? 🤍
