In my season of peace, pleasure, purpose, and pretty little passport stamps. No rush, no pressure, just a woman enjoying the life she’s prayed for. Turks & Caicos, take me away. 🌴✨ 📸: @lovelatotsy
… my darling Meiyang. (Yes, I called you Meiyang, get over it). Instagram and Birthdays. They’re different for everyone. To many they may just be nothing but I think this one app is our diary. The diary of a life we have lived and one we can keep updating every year. Through these years we see many pictures (people) come and go but some remain constant. I don’t know how to put this decade long friendship of two Libra’s born so close to each other yet so far in words, nor in pictures but like every year, I will try. If you know me, you know I operate on Love. And if I love you, I will love you LOUDLY! So this is me loving my best friend and celebrating him loudly and proudly. There are very few people in my life I have LIVED so much with. Travelled with, eaten with, laughed with, cried with, basically, just lived through life with. I don’t know anyone I can talk to for so many hours without alcohol in either of our systems hahaha You are a part of me now, Changa. There is no me without you. I’m sure there are some things we love, we hate and we tolerate about each other but that’s the beauty of true friends, they never leave no matter how hard it gets. (Don’t laugh) I truly believe my friends are my soulmates. Family is blood, spouses are legally bound to be with you, lol Friends, they can come and go as they wish and they just choose to stay. Most, with no agenda whatsoever. And I promise you I will always be there. To get you out of your house, to force you to do things, to push you to do more, to stay up a little late, to drink another drink, to drive that extra mile, to spend that extra lakh 😹 and to LOVE, Love a lot more. I love you so so much Chang. Can’t wait to see what the next year brings. I think we already have very many concerts and trips on the calendar because… masti rukni nahi chahiye. Aap ke saath kuch half hearted nahi hoga, Kyunki aap chaahe tohhhhhh….?? (What Udit ji said). Happy happy birthday meri jaan Taiyaar hoja. Aarahi hoon main tera birthday dhoom dhaam se manaa ne 🤗♥️😘😘💫✨
Little doable changes add up. When it comes to making lifestyle changes like: getting more sleep, moving your body more & following a healthy eating style ~ the trick is to start off slowly. The noise on social media about biohacks, crazy supplements & new “healthy” trends is overwhelming and mostly not evidence based. But getting quality sleep, moving your body every day & eating healthy balanced meals (insert that are providing at least 25 -38 g of fibre per day) are backed my science based evidence. No glitz. No empty promises. No special expensive _______ fill in the blank. Focus on: getting a good night’s sleep, adding more steps to your day and eating more fruits and veggies That’s the start. Pick one, pick two or pick three of these doable habits. And stick to them. In a month you’ll feel the difference. This time next year these will be your lifestyle habits. #smallchangesbigimpact #sleepquality #exercisedaily #healthyeatinghabits Fruit and Vegetable Intake and Risk of Disabling Dementia: Japan Public Health Center Disabling Dementia Study Rie Kishida et al.
