Last week, despite public opposition, the Public Safety Commission voted 5-3 to recommend to City Council that they turn Flock cameras back on in Albany. Two days later, the City of Albany hosted a “Community Conversation” which turned out to be more of a one sided conversation with little time for public comment or questioning.

This Wednesday 5/27, let’s make it loud and clear that we do not want or need mass surveillance in our city!

Sign up to speak at the city council meeting in the calendar page of the City of Albany website. Scroll down to the 6pm City Council Meeting and hit the 💬 Public Comment button.

If cities like Eugene and Springfield can successfully force their local representatives to cancel Flock then so can we! When we fight, we win!

Can’t make it on Wednesday? You can still submit a public comment and/or CALL city leaders directly to let them know you do not want Flock or any other mass surveillance in Albany!
