COME AND SPEND THE DAY AT UNIVERSAL WITH US…
The very best day at Universal Studios/Universal Islands of Adventure - it’s our first time here since the kids have been tall enough to do everything and more importantly wanted to. I finally have some fellow thrill ride seekers 🙌 (well my 10 year old tentatively did a few but not all). You cannot beat @universalorlando for thrill rides.
We managed to get so much done, it’s very hot and humid here in Orlando at the moment, so that included some breaks just sitting, having a moment to reset and having a drink too.
Two things we did have Express Passes which are 100% worth it for Universal I think if you are only there a day like we are. We also took advantage of Child Swap too where you all wait in the queue and then whoever is not riding first waits in an air conditioned family room with the child not riding, the others ride and then you swap so you don’t queue again- this also meant the girls got to ride some things twice.
We loved all the rides we went on but our top three were…
-VelociCoaster because it’s like nothing I’ve ever been on before, simply outstanding and I can see why it wins awards for the best rollercoaster in the world.
- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure which is slightly less crazy than VelociCoaster (doesn’t go upside down) but still fast, thrilling, long and fun. Perfect if you’ve got kids like my 10 year old who don’t want to go on the scariest coasters. It’s brilliant.
-The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man which isn’t a rollercoaster, it’s a 3D simulator but with special effects like fire, water, heat and fog. My little boy was desperate to go on it, but the whole family loved it so much we went on it twice.
