Lillian Kensicki’s journey to becoming a mechatronics engineer started when she was in sixth grade. This spring, she officially earned her Kent State degree and landed a job in her dream career; and her parents were there every step of the way. Today’s look is effortlessly chic and once again perfect for 24/7 wear. The trendy capri pants come with timeless polka dots — meaning two major trends combined in one piece, while not being entirely new after all. Both styles already had their moment years ago and are now making the most elegant comeback 🤍⚫️

And honestly… over the past few days, I simply chose to enjoy real life. Not virtual life — real life. Which, apparently, is almost a little taboo on Instagram these days. But truthfully? As much as I love sharing beautiful moments online, I also want to genuinely live them. And yes, that sometimes means a post or comment gets left behind.

Of course I never mean to disappoint anyone, but if that makes me a little selfish, then so be it — for me, it will always be: REAL LIFE FIRST.💯

Ich hoffe, ihr habt die vergangenen sonnigen Tage genauso genossen wie ich ☀️😎

Mein heutiger Look ist herrlich unkompliziert und gleichzeitig absolut 24/7-tauglich. Die angesagte Capri-Hose trifft auf klassische Polka Dots — also gleich zwei der momentan größten Trends in einem Piece vereint. Und irgendwie doch nichts wirklich Neues, denn genau das lieben wir doch an Fashion: Trends kommen zurück, nur noch eleganter und moderner interpretiert als je zuvor 🤍⚫️

Und ganz ehrlich? Die letzten Tage habe ich einfach das echte Leben genossen. Kein Virtual Life, kein permanentes Online-Sein — sondern bewusstes Real Life. Fast schon ein kleines Tabu in der Instagram-Welt heutzutage. Aber ich möchte neben all den schönen Momenten, die wir hier teilen, das Leben eben auch wirklich fühlen und erleben.

Und ja, manchmal bleibt dadurch ein Post, eine Story oder ein Kommentar liegen. Natürlich niemals aus Desinteresse, sondern einfach, weil ich gelernt habe, wie wichtig diese Balance ist. Denn bei aller Liebe zu Social Media gilt für mich am Ende trotzdem:
