These are the motion graphics I animated as a test for a multimedia design internship at a partnership marketing platform that has an office in Cape Town.

I got an email from their admin on 19th May with a link to a script, storyboard and other resources I had to use to create a 2-3 min presentation for one of their products and instructions to complete and submit it within just 7 days.

Since I was at graduation away from home that day, that meant I had just 6 days to complete it, which kinda made things tighter, but not impossible to do.

This project was done entirely in adobe After Effects, where I recreated each slide from a storyboard and synced each animation and transition to an audio narration and incorporated the in app video footage.

I submitted on 25th May and they scheduled an interview two days later. They were impressed and said that I have good technical skills and experience, but that wasn’t enough and I ultimately didn’t get the position. Oh well, I can’t let this bump on the road stop me from moving forward.
