ONE OF 2PAC'S DEEPEST & MOST EMOTIONAL SONGS EVER "Just cause you're in the ghetto doesn't mean you can't grow." 🌻 🗓️ 35 YEARS AGO TODAY 2Pac dropped the single "Brenda's Got A Baby" 💔 📄 BACKGROUND: 💿 Recorded: Spring, 1991 📍 Location: Starlight Sound Studio, Richmond, CA ⚙️ Produced by: Big D The Impossible 🕊️ 🎤 Feat. Dave Hollister & @pacdiva 💽 2Pacalypse Now (1991) 📊 THE CHARTS: 🥉 No. 3 (Billboard Rap Songs) 📈 No. 23 (Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs) ⏱️ 14 weeks on the charts 📜 BACKSTORY: Before Pac, no male rapper ever spoke on the real struggles of young Black women in the ghetto until he made this song. Inspired by a true story, Pac wrote "Brenda's Got A Baby" while filming Juice after reading a New York Times article about a newborn rescued from a Brooklyn trash compactor. The mother was a 12-year-old girl who got pregnant by her cousin and admitted to throwing her baby down the trash chute right after giving birth in her apartment. This dark reality is what inspired Pac to write the song. Decades later, the real baby—Davonn Hodge—reconnected with his birth mother in Las Vegas. 📼 THE MUSIC VIDEO: 🗓️ Filmed: January 7, 1992 📍 Downtown Oakland, CA 🎥 Directed by: The Hughes Brothers 📺 Released: January 20, 1992 👥 APPEARANCES: @iambrendalove, @moneyb69, @mopremeshakur, @thuglife_manman1970, @therealmouseman, @djfuze_du, Mike Cooley & The Gov Recorded when Pac was just 20, this track remains one of his greatest and most profound masterpieces. He didn't just highlight teen pregnancy—he gave a voice to the impoverished with pure brilliance, power and timeless storytelling. And he didn't even need to curse. Still hitting the same 35 years later? ⬇️ Drop a 🔥 if you love this track!! #2pac #2pacshakur #tupac #tupacshakur #fyp

I know many of you have asked me how to pin a saree when you’re wearing a high-neck blouse. Usually, we ask our husbands or someone nearby for help—but what if you’re getting ready alone and short on time? Here’s a simple hack I use myself. Because the D’Choli is made with stretchable fabric, it’s easier to put on even after you’ve pinned the saree to it. I’ve only tried this hack with the D’Choli, so I can’t say how it will work with other blouses. Try it and tell me how it goes. And if you haven’t worn a D’Choli yet, try one and experience how comfortable and convenient it feels. Start with one—and you may find yourself wanting more colours!
