$Dear Nat, It has been the greatest honor to know you and love you. A part of me is missing without you here. You are the bravest and most admirable person I have ever known. You always have been and always will be my biggest inspiration. Your dedication and passion for aviation are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. You pursued your dreams with a determination that inspired everyone around you, and the love and light you brought into this world will never be forgotten. I am forever grateful for every second I was blessed enough to spend with you. I’m so proud to call you my best friend, workout partner, and sister in Christ. I would give anything to have one more day of wearing matching outfits, getting energy drinks from Vitamin Shoppe, listening to our favorite songs in the car, going to the gym, and then getting food one last time. I wish I could sleep over at your house again, eat our favorite protein snacks, and watch videos of planes while you teach me about each one. Every memory of you is so precious to me. I’m going to miss your laugh so much. I want my best friend back so badly, but I find comfort in knowing that the God we love is holding you now. I know He saw your beautiful heart, your dreams, and every bit of light you brought into the lives of others. I am so proud of the woman you are, and I pray I can carry even a fraction of your kindness, discipline, and love with me throughout my life. Thank you for loving me so wholeheartedly. You showed me what a true friend is. I will miss you in a million ways, every single day, for the rest of my life. Until we meet again, my best friend. I love you endlessly. Thank you for being one of the greatest blessings God ever placed in my life. 🩷$

Democrat Amy Acton defeated Republican Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio governor, according to the Associated Press, becoming the first Democrat to win the office since 2006 after a tight race that turned ugly in its final stretch.

With 85% of the vote reported, Acton had 50.7% to 46% for Ramaswamy.

Acton’s victory capped a race featuring two lead candidates who had never served in elected office. Acton, the former director of Ohio’s Department of Health under Republican Gov. Mike DeWine, graduated from medical school after growing up in Youngstown, Ohio. In her campaign Acton shared details of a tough childhood that forced her to endure periods of hunger, sexual abuse and homelessness. Climbing up from those lows made her “dedicated to lifting others,” she said.

Ramaswamy previously ran for president before dropping out and endorsing President Trump in January 2024. At the start of Trump’s second term, Ramaswamy was appointed alongside Elon Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, with the aim of slashing government spending, but he left the venture after tension with Musk.
