Now Open Until 28 August: Fancy Ices at Woodward Henry, the Bompas & Parr Studio Gallery Open Fridays 12pm-5pm or by appointment Every Friday in August, visitors to the exhibition can enjoy free ice cream, with a new flavour each week from an exciting ice cream maker. Watch this space—we’ll be revealing our collaborators very soon 👀🍦 ——- Ice cream is an achievement of suspended collapse. Fat, sugar, water and air are held in place just long enough for the result to be admired and consumed. Left alone, the structure loosens and returns to liquid. Fancy Ices begins with this instability, treating ice cream not simply as food but as a form shaped by labour, class, desire and time. Exhibiting Artists: Millie Aburrow Emma Black Katie Eraser Holly Halkes Winnie Hall Helen Hamilton Bex Massey Samah Rafiq Olivia Sterling Katie Tomlinson 15 July - 28 August Bompas & Parr Studio 8 Glasshouse Yard, London, EC1A 4JN ——- The programme at Woodward Henry will present exhibitions that combine contemporary art with museological display and immersive storytelling. Through this approach, Woodward Henry will situate artworks within expanded cultural contexts, drawing connections between artistic practice and the broader territories that Bompas & Parr continue to explore: food, drink, architecture, branding, the body, science, spectacle, wonder and human universals. by @katie.eraser
HOME AND AWAY By fusing the Golden Gaytime with the Bubble O’ Bill, I collapsed two iconic Australian ice creams into a singular image. Drawing on the familiarity of childhood confectionery, the work queers these nostalgic icons, exposing the absurdity beneath their seemingly innocent surfaces, where camp humour and queer desire converge. Rather than simply celebrating nostalgia, the painting unsettles it, suggesting that cultural icons are never fixed in meaning and that the everyday is rich with queer potential. This new work is showing now in ‘Fancy Ices’ a group show @bompasandparr Inspired by Victorian “Queen of Ices” Agnes Bertha Marshall, Fancy Ices will bring together nine women artists and historical items from the British Museum of Food, with Bompas & Parr ice creams served alongside, to explore sweetness, nostalgia and spectaclein all their melting forms. 15 July — 28 August Woodward Henry Bompas & Parr Studio 8 Glasshouse Yard, London, EC14 4JN HOME AND AWAY Oil, oil stick, charcoal and bubble gum on canvas 51 x 41cm 2026 by @katie.eraser

MYSTERY ROAD, 2025-26 Oil, oil stick and charcoal on canvas, 90x60cm Developed through dialogue with my studio archive, this work explores how memory persists within an image. Earlier motifs resurface and shift meaning as new gestures intervene. The composition moves between recognition and estrangement, reflecting the altered pace and sensitivity of my current practice. by @katie.eraser
Specific Objects Projects introduces — Katie Eraser @katie.eraser exhibiting in the upcoming project 04: ‘PAPER TOWER 2.0’, a group show from 8 contemporary artists. Opening Thursday 30 April 6–8.30. For one night only. Katie Eraser — Katie Eraser is a painter and sculptor, working across personal archives and collage. Born in Sydney, Australia, she currently lives and works in London, UK. Eraser graduated from the Turps Art School on the two-year Studio Programme (2023-25). Previously she studied Graduate Diploma of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University (2021); Masters of Art Therapy, The Miecat Institute (2018-2021). Eraser’s paintings are exemplified by a process of layering, altering, removing, scrubbing and replacing. An archive of Eraser’s oeuvre exists in her studio, where she draws on past works on paper and canvas, collaging elements into the work. In doing so she collapses the hierarchy of process and finished product, allowing studio detritus to coexist with the crafted paint on the canvas surface. Creating a tension between what is revealed and what is withheld. In this way she is interested in collage as a methodology, working with her archive as a process allows Eraser to collaborate with past versions of herself and epochs in her practice, through which she also investigates conflicting psychological states. Eraser was a winner of the 2026 Clyde & Co Art Prize; finalist of the 2026 McFarlanes Art Prize; finalist of the 2024 Ingram Art Prize; longlist for 2024 Waverton Art Prize; finalist for the 2022 BBA Art Gallery Prize Berlin; winner of the 2018 Fortyfive Downstairs Emerging Artist Award, Australia. TROPPO Oil, oil stick and charcoal on canvas, 90x60cm, 2025-26 Using archived paintings as intact grounds, this work explores rupture and return. Earlier compositions remain partially visible beneath minimal new interventions, forming a palimpsest where past and present coexist. The surface carries traces of two distinct moments in my practice. Before and after the break 🦴 by @katie.eraser
