With the Giants in position to win the NFC East, Terron Armstead proposes a blockbuster mock trade that would send Justin Herbert to New York in exchange for Jaxson Dart and two first-round picks.

"If you're the Giants GM, do you put together a package to trade for Justin Herbert right now? We see how he's playing. He hasn't played well at all, but you look at his career and what he's amassed over his career, you've seen the talent, you've seen the production, not in the playoffs, but you've seen what he's been able to do at the quarterback position," Armstead said.

"Now, if the ask is two first round picks and Jaxson Dart, do you do that? Do you make that trade as a New York Giants GM?"

🕯️⛪ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Laudate Dominum, from the Vesperae solennes de confessore, K. 339
Aksel Rykkvin – boy soprano voice 🎤
Oslo Domkor and IRIS kammerorkester – Vivianne Sydnes
•
The name de confessore, which appears in the title of these vespers, was added to the score later, by another hand, and the saint it refers to may never have existed. Mozart composed the work in 1780 for the cathedral of Salzburg, where he was court organist to Archbishop Colloredo. Mozart had come back from Paris to take the post, and his dissatisfaction with Salzburg went on without easing. In the fifth movement, the Laudate Dominum, he gave the soprano a much simpler solo: the one in the vespers of the year before was florid. It is this movement that is often sung on its own, apart from the whole work. The following year, Mozart broke with the archbishop and was dismissed.

Listen again and notice what happens after the camera closes in on the singer's face, with a blurred candle beside it: the sound, which had been strong, fades gradually over several seconds, until it is very faint, and only then does the voice rise in volume again.

Aksel Rykkvin was born in Oslo and, before this night, had recorded his first album, in London, with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, funded by a crowdfunding campaign. According to the video description, the performance brought together the Oslo Domkor, the choir of Oslo Cathedral, and the IRIS kammerorkester, conducted by Vivianne Sydnes, at one of the free Christmas concerts at the cathedral, in December 2016. Right after the camera passes over the orchestra's musicians, it pulls back and Aksel appears in the distance, standing, with his hands at his sides, in front of the altar and the stained-glass window.
