Bazeecha-e-atfal (Urdu: بازیچۂ اطفال) translates to “child’s play” or “a children’s playground”.
The phrase comes from the famous opening couplet of a ghazal by the legendary Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib:

Bazeecha-e-atfal hai duniya mere aage”
Hota hai shab-o-roz tamasha mere aage”

Meaning ——-The world is nothing but a children’s playground before me; day and night, a constant spectacle/show plays out before my eyes.”
Ghalib uses this metaphor to express a sense of deep existential detachment. He views the world, with all its daily struggles, politics, ambitions, and tragedies, as trivial and fleeting—much like a game children play. To him, life is just an illusion or a drama that he watches unfold .
