📺😂 During an appearance on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Norm Macdonald created one of the show’s most unforgettable moments with a mix of sarcasm, timing, and quick thinking that instantly stole the spotlight.

While sitting in the hot seat, Norm jokingly began explaining how he believed the show’s 50/50 lifeline worked. Instead of randomly removing two wrong answers, he confidently claimed it would conveniently eliminate the options contestants were already least likely to pick — leaving behind the two choices they were actually struggling between.

What made the moment legendary was what happened next: the lifeline was activated… and the answers disappeared almost exactly the way Norm predicted. The coincidence was so perfect that the audience and host were left stunned, while Norm reacted with the kind of dry humor and smug satisfaction that made him such a unique comedic presence.

The clip quickly became a fan-favorite example of Macdonald’s brilliance — turning an ordinary game show mechanic into a hilarious on-air conspiracy theory in real time. Whether he was serious or just improvising for laughs, the moment perfectly captured what made Norm special: unpredictable wit, fearless delivery, and the ability to make even silence funny.

assuming you know its one of two, that means the correct answer will still stay there, people dont understand this, its dropping 2 out of 3 wrong answers, not 2 out of 4.

It's always been obvious - I'd pretend I was stuck between one I thought it might be and one I knew it definitely wasn't.
