Final long trail at the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area. Wanted to get it out of the way before the heat rolled in, especially with how exposed it is, and make sure I did it as part of my training for the Wonderland later this summer. After this I only have part of Prospector and maybe one up around the Recreation Area, which all might be done by the end of the week. After that, I will have done every trail in the NCA.

I need to ask more about the history of this trail, since there must be one, but Lange’s Dugway starts with a crossing of Black Gulch. I found a nice patch of desert marigold overlooking the St George Basin as well once that climb had concluded.
