Druski got VULNERABLE about where his comedy really comes from, revealing that growing up with an abusive father shaped the way he learned to make people laugh 💔😔 He said he watched his mom and brother go through painful situations at home and would always try to become “the funny guy” afterward just to lift everybody’s spirits.

“I would always try to be, ‘Oh, the funny guy,’ maybe at dinner after or maybe after the next day goes by, and I’m trying to lift everybody’s vibe up… My comedy comes from that place of healing, wanting to make our situation better at home.”

Druski also opened up about his brother later being diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, which he connects to the trauma they experienced growing up.

He then revealed that Netflix, Amazon and FX all REJECTED his show ideas, so instead of waiting for somebody else to believe in him, he invested his OWN MONEY and built the projects himself on YouTube 😳🔥

“I started to just believe in myself… I’m just betting on myself. Now they want to purchase these shows that we’ve made. Now it’s a bidding war.”

Now the SAME companies that passed on him are reportedly coming back trying to buy the shows he created independently.

“Before anybody sees the vision, YOU have to see it. It has to start with you.” 🔥

From using comedy to help his family through difficult moments to betting on himself when major companies said no, Druski’s story hits completely different. 🙏🔥
