To those who found ourselves being The mother, the father, the nurse, the doctor, the chauffeur and the therapist, May God forever cover you.
And I as I tell myself from time to time when I feel angry. It is us you who really gained in the end and those who were absent made a decision they will never truly recover from.

Motherhood is a long quiet heartbreak, disguised and years of ordinary days. The truth is, you lived for your children But you are preparing them to live Without you.

Today may you remember some forever truths:

You are enough.
You have loved, sacrificed, worried, guided, forgiven, shed countless tears & Blood, and Shown up more times than anyone will ever fully see. The choices your adult children make are not a measure of your worth as a mother.
You gave your all with the knowledge, strength, and love you had at the time. That matters. Your care mattered.

A mother’s heart was never meant to carry endless guilt for things beyond her control. You are allowed to rest. May you receive all your flowers today.
