🇮🇹 These are words and expressions you’ll often hear in everyday conversations across Calabria! Of course, the way we speak can change a little from one area to another, but the meaning is often the same. ❤️ 👇 Which ones do you know or use? And which ones do you hear most often? It’s important to slip out of your comfort zone from Time to Time. That’s why I always do so many Colors for my cashmere collections. I love when I convince a client to try a color that she has never worn…..I always say try and then say no. Very often I see the eyes light up with appréciation. Imagine trying a color you never dared to Even consider before and you look at yourself in the mirror and think WOW I actually love this color on me. It’s like…..It’s a new me!!! Life reserves good surprises….but one needs to just step forward to let it happen. I did that recently. Stepped out of my comfort zone. Your girl Linda was asked out on a date…..First time since my divorce 22 years ago. True fact. Never asked out since 22 years. I think it’s the age. Rare is the man who wants to date a woman his age. To make a short story Even shorter…..We went out for one dinner and one lunch…..End of story. I will spare you the details. What’s important to me is I Said yes. It was fun getting dressed for a date again!!! At least now I know it’s a NO…..It could have very easily been a yes. I tried. No regrets. It was fun showing up for a date at 78!!! Now back to getting on down the familiar road: 1) Crown Cardigan @crimson_cashmere 2) Navy gabardine pant @nicholsonandnicholson 3) Best Jean Jacket out there @superstitchparismfg 4) Shoes @prada 5) Scarf @crimson_cashmere in collaboration with @destinsurl 6) Canvas Boat ‘n Tote @llbean 7) Sunglasses @oliverpeoples Moral of this story? Choosing cashmere Colors seems easier than dating…..Also I have started buying plants…..Thanks to my favorite gardener @terrywinters9141 for encouraging me!!! No, I will not buy a dog next. 😂😂😎😂😂 ❌⭕️❌⭕️

@thebigmansworld So far, October has been a pretty epic month in terms of cooking! Here’s some of my favs I’ve cooked up: 1. Honey walnut shrimp- A riff on something I used to eat all the time as a kid, the crispy shrimp and walnuts are coated in a sweet, savory sauce. 2. Air fryer fish tacos- This is my hack for crispy fish without all the deep frying. Add your favorite taco fillings and voila. 3. Tri tip roast- Tri tip can be hit or miss when it comes to roasting, but I’ve perfected the ideal spice rub, along with cooking time, so you can expect a juicy roast every time. 4. Flourless oat bread- Skip the flour and make a loaf of this fluffy sandwich brea that doesn’t use bread or regular AP flour. 5. Carnitas (pulled pork)- I recently re-tested this recipe to be better AND easier. I reckon it’s one of the best pulled porks ever. 6. Air fryer fried rice- probably the best use of leftover rice and all done in the air fryer. 7. Cottage cheese cinnamon rolls- I know this sounds a little odd, but I’m only adding the cottage cheese to the dough, and you won’t even know it’s there. They turn out super fluffy and gooey. Just say “recipe” and I’ll DM you the link right this second or click the link in my profile OR save the recipes below https://thebigmansworld.com/recipes/ or google “the big mans world recipes” Follow @thebigmansworld for more easy, healthy recipes
