🤩 Great news to end the season with: @ronan_auge is back in France!

After a tough first week in a Malaysian hospital, surrounded by machines and sensors, Ronan was transferred to a private clinic for further examinations. Throughout this time, his dad stayed by his side. He also had two incredible women looking out for him: Fatira and Amy from the @letourdelangkawi2026 , who came to visit every single day, completely voluntarily. 💜

🪒 They helped with all kinds of things, from keeping him company to helping him shave and feel a little more like himself again. When you’re stuck in a clinic so far from home, that kind of kindness means the world. And thanks to volunteers of the Tour de Langkawi, Ronan was in good hands when it came to his grooming, too! (@philipsbenelux, we might have found your next OneBlade barbers.)

The journey back to France was an adventure in itself. As Ronan needed a doctor and a nurse to accompany him, the trip went via Singapore, where he flew lying on a stretcher across four airplane seats. A huge thank you to Air France for going above and beyond to make it all happen. 🫶

Now in Bordeaux, another week of medical examinations lies ahead to assess his injuries and figure out the next steps. The crash also damaged a facial nerve, leaving one side of his face paralysed for now. It feels strange, but he’s already choosing to laugh about it. And we have to say, you’re still looking great, Ronan!

💖 To everyone who has sent a message, shared their support or simply thought of Ronan over the past few weeks: thank you. The amount of love has been incredible and has given him so much strength. Through it all, one thing hasn’t changed: his dream. 💭

📈 The goal is still to race as a professional cyclist at the highest level. There’s a long road ahead, and recovery comes first, but the ambition is still there. One day at a time, one step at a time, and never giving up on that dream. We love to see you back in France, Ronan. We’re behind you all the way.
