Still processing things, but I wanted to take a moment to thank some incredible people.

Thank you to USA Weightlifting, IWF, and AWF. This has been a wonderful meet where everything ran seamlessly—the attention to detail was noticed and truly appreciated. I hope we can come back.

My sponsors are incredible-Go shop them! Thank you Rogue, TYR, Podium, and BlenderBottle!

I want to thank my competitors from all over the world for continuing to push me to work harder and be better. We’ve all made huge improvements in a short time, and it culminated in what is probably the most exciting session I will ever be a part of.

My PT, Al Gesite, made the trip this time, and I will be forever grateful for our weekly sessions. Thank you for keeping me moving well. See you next week.

Sean Rigsby, thank you for keeping us sorted in the back and for pushing my dad for the 143kg. I’m glad I could deliver on the snatch, and you’ll definitely be there when I hit 189kg or more at the next one.

Kevin, thank you for stepping in for Mike in the back and for your help with my lifting. I appreciate you and our great talks about books.

Mike Gattone, thank you for everything you do, and I’m sorry you couldn’t be there this time. We’ll get it together next time.

Will Edmonds, I know sitting in the cramped media square isn’t fun, but you do it tirelessly—along with the middle-of-the-night delivery of all the photos and videos. I appreciate you very much.

Meagan, thank you for always running around on competition day to grab all the things I forgot and for checking in on me during my cut.

Thank you to all the other support staff from USAW, my teammates, and their awesome coaches for being so supportive. Keep crushing it at this comp!

Mama and Etta, thanks for making my meals and helping me with everything at home. Most importantly, thank you for sending all the puppy pictures while I was gone. I love you both—and the pups!

Papa, I am very proud of us and what we did. I’m ready to get back to training and keep crushing it. This journey has been better because of your part in it. I love you, Papa.
