Happy ( BELATED)Mother’s Day to the woman that’s gotten me through it all. My superhero, my backbone, my everything.
Honestly, a big part of me doesn’t even know where to begin. I guess I’ll start with the fact that you get on my nerves sometimes 😭 but I can’t complain too much because I know I get on yours too. That’s just our package deal. We are literally carbon copies of each other. I think that’s why we clash so much sometimes, because there’s so much of myself that I get from you, I can’t even deny!
But on a serious note… you have truly been with me through it all. From my shitty boy problems and dating life, TERRIBLE mood swings & insufferable depression, to the beautiful parts of me discovering myself and becoming who I am. You have poured so much into my cup, and I really need you to know how much that means to me.
You are such a stellar fucking mom. Like quote from Mean Girls “You’re not a regular mom — you’re a cool mom”, and there is nothing on this earth that could ever replace that. Even through our imperfections, our disagreements, and the moments where we butt heads, you are still the mother I could have never asked for better than. There’s literally no remaking you. God really did His thing with you.( 🤏🏽🤏🏽❣️)
One thing I admire most about you is how encouraging you are. You uplift people even when you’re carrying so much yourself. You inspire me more than you know. My mom is a get-it-done woman. Even in moments where you felt discouraged or felt like you couldn’t do something, I have watched you move mountains starting with nothing but pebbles and stones. Once you set your mind to something, you get it DONE. That’s something I will forever admire about you. ( YOU THAT GIRL FR 👸🏽✨💅🏽)
