Wild women raising wild women. Happy Mother’s Day to all the strong women bring more strong women into this world. I’m so grateful to have such a badass mother who never stopped me from doing what I loved. I wrestled back in the early 2000s with boys while women’s wrestling was in its infancy. My mother was the loudest in the stands, shouting “make the boys cry baby girl!” Her support pushed me to become an all-American 🇺🇸 ♥️
When I wanted to start fishing commercially at 13 years old she told me to flex my wrestler arms, shake a captains hand firm with eye contact when you walk the dock looking for a job. She always supported me and pushed me but never handed anything to me. She showed me hard work and determination. She was an ice road trucked for years and her abilities amazed me. I don’t know who I’d be if I wasn’t my mother’s daughter. Thank you mama.
