The National Federation of Nepalese Transport Entrepreneurs has urged bus operators not to issue tickets to women for seats beside the driver during the Dashain travel period. Federation Chairman Punyal Prasad Sitoula made the request to transport operators, saying the measure was being suggested from a passenger safety perspective. Sitoula asked operators to avoid giving women passengers seats in the front row of the cabin and instead provide seats behind the driver. He said complaints had been received that passengers sitting beside the driver could cause distractions, and the request was made with concerns about road accidents and passenger safety during the busy Dashain travel period. The federation’s request is specifically directed at transport operators when issuing tickets for Dashain travel. The report does not mention a government rule or legal ban requiring women to avoid the driver’s side seat. You see the small top that’s the one everybody goes up to in the end of Ipanema from vidgal favela. Also amazing but this one was brutal and exhauating in the humidity and heat and some climbing. #pedradagavea 844 masl. Only upwards and got extremely steep and vertical in the end well worth it but u need to be in pretty good shape and mentally prepared for the vertical steeps under around you next to you. Incredible. I would not go here a rainy day. It’s free to enter and u can go the full for free and u can make tours. I went alone as always and rented gear for the climbing part on the top. I’m sure im overpriced as im tourist payed 150R for it but read its about 30R each way. Anyway cheap for this views. Easy accessible from cops I took a uber for 60R (10€ish) and 46R on the way back. I brought 3 1,5 liter water and u will need at least two 1,5L bring a tea energy also always for hikes, matter more then less when your body just giving up. If you forgot there is a little shop at the entrance and also they sell some ice creams and small things att the top the guys with the gear.
Kad je ekipa dobra, sve je ljepše…🥰🤍
