Imagine being remembered by the One who created the heavens and the earth. 🤍 Not by someone wealthy. Not by someone powerful. But by Allah, the Lord of all creation, the Most Merciful, the Most High. And what does Allah ask of us? فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ “So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.” (Qur’an 2:152) SubḥānAllāh. What an extraordinary promise. You may feel forgotten by the world, overlooked by people, or completely alone in your struggles. But every sincere remembrance of Allah is an opportunity to draw closer to the One who never forgets you. The Prophet (salal llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) narrated that Allah said: “If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself; and if he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than it.” Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 7405 Think about that. A simple Alḥamdulillāh whispered in gratitude. A quiet Astaghfirullāh after a mistake. A heartfelt SubḥānAllāh when reflecting upon His creation. Words that may seem small to us, yet carry immense weight with Allah. And notice how Allah joins remembrance with gratitude. Because the more you remember your Lord, the more you begin to recognise His blessings. The breath you just took. The heart that continues beating. The countless difficulties He has already carried you through. Never allow what you are waiting for to make you forget what Allah has already given you. Make dhikr a companion throughout your day, not something reserved only for moments of hardship. 🤲 Yā Allah, make our tongues moist with Your remembrance, our hearts alive with gratitude, and our souls content with Your decree. Never let us become heedless of You. Ameen
