In June 2025, 9-year-old Cairo “Cai” Hall went viral for wearing a dapper suit and tie to the PAWS Shelter of Central Texas to adopt his first dog, a pit bull mix named Waylon who had waited 95 days for a home. Cai wanted to honor the “special occasion” and his lifelong commitment to the dog.
