Late last summer, we made the decision to switch Peyton to
@achieversgym to compete in Level 3 not realizing their competitions were in the fall.
She had to learn the skills and routines in lightning speed while adjusting to more hours - but she locked in and put her everything into it. Watching her learn the back handspring was so much fun.She showed up to every meet with determination to be better than yesterday and a smile - and her scores improved every meet!
Now she’s in Level 4, mastering new skills like her kip on bars and cartwheel on beam. Skills are cool, but what has really made the difference is the people. She is poured into by her coaches, lifted up by her teammates, and cheered on with every success and obstacle faced.
Last night she had her first banquet, and was awarded as Most Improved! We are so incredibly proud of how she shows up every day - learning life skills that will take her far beyond the gym. Keep shining, P! ✨
