THIS IS WHY MISSISSIPPI MATTERS!!!!! It was an honor to sing Miss Black America with these beautiful young queens and they deserve a better Mississippi than I had at their age . THIS IS WHY WE VOTE ! HR. Bukhari Barakallahu fiikum.
What a night. The Emmys were a reminder of how much work, sacrifice, patience, faith, and support it takes to get to a moment like this. I’m incredibly grateful for the nominations, for the people who believed in me, for the team that helped me show up as my best self, and for everyone who has been part of the journey along the way. There are a lot of long days behind a night like this. A lot of people. A lot of love. I don’t take any of it for granted. What a night. 🩶 Photography: @bokocecile Styling: @apuje Grooming: @dannidoeslife PR: @katwalkmedia Tux: @tomford Jewelry: @charlielapson
