Yesterday, a female Yoga teacher shared something that stayed with me:
“Aging with dignity is freedom.”
And honestly… it inspired this video.
Because I think women have spent far too long placing each other into categories, judging each other through limited ideas of what femininity “should” look like.
Too superficial.
Too spiritual.
Too feminine.
Too sensual.
Too ambitious.
Too much.
Not enough.
We judge women for caring about beauty.
We judge women for not caring about beauty.
For expressing themselves.
For staying quiet.
For being soft.
For being strong.
And somewhere along the way, many of us internalized the idea that one type of woman must be “better” or “more evolved” than another.
But I don’t believe freedom looks like that.
I believe a woman can care deeply for her soul and still love aesthetics. She can nourish her spirituality and still enjoy beauty. She can be reflective, empathetic, profound… and still feel connected to her femininity and her exterior.
There is abundance in womanhood.
One quality does not cancel out another.
I take care of my body because it is my temple.
And caring for the exterior does not mean neglecting the interior.
What I wish for women around me is freedom.
Freedom of expression.
Freedom from shame.
Freedom from constantly being reduced to appearances.
And maybe the most beautiful thing we can offer one another is exactly that: a space where women feel safe to fully be themselves. 💙

Mi queridísima Anna.. me llegaste al alma. Tus palabras son tan sencillas y claras. Y sin embargo, para nosotras, las mujeres, a menudo es tan difícil ver nuestra debilidad interior; intentamos ocultarla. Y vemos la debilidad como algo imperfecto. Pero hay algo verdaderamente mágico y ligero en sentirnos débiles. Es la feminidad en su máxima expresión. Y cuando nos rodeamos de personas que realmente nos ven, nos sentimos completas porque nos complementamos. No en la competencia, la envidia ni la negatividad. Te abrazo con mucho cariño.... 🫂🙏🏼🤍🩵
