When President Emmanuel Macron opened his tour of REuse Economy Expo in Paris, he started at the TOMRA stand.
For our teams, it was a proud moment and a welcome recognition of the work happening every day to make circular systems easier to use, easier to operate and easier to bring into daily life.
President Macron visited the fair together with Monique Barbut, France’s Minister of Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature, and Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister Delegate for Ecological Transition. At the TOMRA stand, they saw how our technology supports collection and reuse systems that help packaging stay in circulation.
The visit came as France renewed the conversation on deposit return for plastic bottles and how the country can move closer to its 2030 targets.
At TOMRA, we believe progress comes from practical systems that work for people, businesses and cities. Return points that fit into daily routines, data that helps operators make better decisions and infrastructure that brings materials back so they can be used again.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at REuse Economy Expo. A special moment for our teams, and an encouraging signal for the future of collection, reuse and circularity in France.
If you are visiting REuse Economy Expo today, you can find us at stand A35 until 18:00.
