Good Weather Bicycle & Repair

Here's the news: Jason is stepping away from his wrenches, hanging up his calipers, stowing the truing stand. At the end of the summer, he'll start spending more time at the cafe. Brandon is working the cafe and opening @waterman_made on Vashon Island for paint, powder coating, and design work. We're both still around, just pointed in new directions.

That means that after more than ten years, Good Weather Bicycle & Repair is looking for its next chapter. A new owner, a co-op, a collective of mechanics who want to build something; whatever shape makes sense for Capitol Hill's riders.

@tailwindcafe is here to stay. New lease signed. Same coffee, same crew, same patio. Jason will be spending more time there helping run the show. It's not going anywhere 🎉.

The bike shop will be open at least into mid/late August and hopefully a lot longer with a new group.

Do you know someone who should run a bike shop? The name, the tools, the community, the reputation, the connections are ready for you. Ten years of relationships and a neighborhood that shows up.
