When you build solutions for everyday life, cultural diversity is actually one of the things that decides whether a solution works.🤔

People don’t move through the world in the same way. What feels obvious to one person can feel unclear to another, because of language, signage, instructions, and what people are used to in public spaces.

So, if we want systems to work across communities, we need teams that can see the world from more than one angle. That’s why our theme for Cultural Diversity Day is “give to gain.” You give time to listen, create space for different perspectives, you respect lived experience, and you gain better decisions, stronger collaboration, and solutions that hold up in more places, for more people.

At TOMRA, our ROOTS Employee Resource Group (ERG) helps strengthen that muscle. It’s a space for colleagues to connect, learn, and bring broader perspectives into how we work.

Today we’re marking Cultural Diversity Day. Every other day, we keep doing the work.
